September was a busy month.
It has started with participation in the Polish School of Open Pit Mining, where I had a presentation on the Block model application for quarry optimization.
Next, I need to prepare two pieces of training to facilitate: TCL and O-Pitblast, both for AHG UST – the biggest Polish mining university.
The last, not least another conference. That time the symposium Cement-Lime-Aggregates organized by BMP Sp. z o.o. publisher of Surowce and Maszyny Budowlane (Raw materials and construction machines) the Magazine in which I am in the Programm Board.

Short summary:
1. Two successful training facilitation
2. Three presentation presented during two conferences
3. An uncounted number of new contacts and discuss topics
4. Collected and handed over the feed needed to push forward the AugmentedQuarry project.

The last point is a bit mysterious and must stay as such for a while. It is an innovative project which I lead from some time already.
In 2017 I got the first price in my category for that business idea in a competition organized by European Institut of Innovation and Technology.
As soon as I have the proof of concept, hopefully till the end of the year, I will be able to tell more about it.

Nevertheless, touching the topic of innovation in the extraction industry, it was a topic of one of my presentations. Surprisingly for me, it got more attention than another, more technical one. It shows the hunger for innovation and lack of it, at least on the level of quarries. Big mines do their job well.
